New Years Eve Silver Party Look

I can't believe 2009 is already over! 2010 is going to be such a great year, it gives me the opportunity to start fresh :) Hope you all had a great holiday, and let's ring in 2010 together! This is a mini-tutorial on a silver smokey eye using my 88 Shimmer Coastal Scents palette.

#1 color - all over the lid #2 color - outer half of lid #3 color - outer V #4 color - transitioning color to help blend out any harsh lines above all colors. For blush I used my Hello Kitty in Tippy - great bright pink shade for the festivities!
Lips, I went nude - Revlon Nude Attitude.
For a gloss, I used The Body Shop's lipgloss in 02 - from their summer collection :)

NARS Orgasm blush VS ELF Contouring Blush

I just so happen to have both, and decided to compare the two blushes. I know I was curious about the two blushes..were yall?? lol Prices Nars Orgasm $25.00 ELF Contouring Blush and Bronzing $3.00
Color Nars Orgasm is more shiny and glowy. It's peachier too. ELF blush is more pink..and not as glowy. It's more powdery i'd say.
They both have gold glitter in them, but one is still noticeably differen than the other. I still prefer my NARS Orgasm better <3 What do you all think?

My all time favorite make-up brushes!

Nope, not my top 5 - or top 10 favorite makeup brushes...these are my ALL TIME FAVORITE makeup brushes! MAC 129 blush brush: I love this brush because of the shape. It's nice and rounded so it picks up just the right amount of product and it places it exactly where I need it. It's not too round or thick and doesn't make me look like a clown afterwards! Great quality, and a must have!
MAC 224 blending brush: Tapered at the end, and nice and puffy for blending out those harsh edges/lines. I love this for making all of my makeup seem nice and well blended. It's soft too.
MAC 222 blending brush: Tapered as well, but skinnier than the 224 brush. It's great for the crease work, and smoking out your outer v's.
Essence of beauty contour brush: Awesome for blush as well, but I use it for contouring and highligting! It's cheap too!!
Bobbi Brown eyeliner brush: Thin, and small - great for precise eyeliner work! Works best with gel eyeliner <3
Bobbi Brown eyebrow brush: Follows the grooves of your eyebrows perfectly! It's angled so it places the right amount of powder where needed. Great for filling in those brows <3
Tell me your favorite brushes! I'd love to see other bloggers opinions :) Love you all, Cynthia
