The Body Shop Fall Haul!

I had the opportunity to check out the upcoming "Autum Fall 2009 Collection" by The Body Shop! Lisa from The Body shop had sent me the items to review, and I can honestly say - I love everything. Although, I love some things just a tad bit MORE ;) Most makeup items shown seem mineralized, but i'm not sure if they are or not. I know the eyeshadows and blushes are baked - but not sure if they contain minerals. Thank you to Yi who corrected me on this issue <3. But these are just so shimmery and pretty, I love them!! (This collection releases August 31st!) Here are the pictures + Reviews:
Cool Dusk, Warm Sunset
**The blushes are so pretty! They come in 3 different colors, so you can definitely choose which shade you'd prefer wearing..or better yet wear all 3!**
Moonlight Lustre, SunDown Glow
**NO BASE ON MY ARM! The eyeshadows come in 3 shades. They are all very pigmented, and actually I found some exact dupes from MAC too! I will post those pictures later. Moonlight Lustre actually includes 3 of the most popular shades for fall right now! Definitely give these a try!**
Rosy Red (Lipliner), Burnished Amber (Khol Eyeliner), Vibrant Emerald (Khol Eyeliner), Brilliant Blue (Khol Eyeliner), Shimmering Silver (Khol Eyeliner)
**I love these eyeliners. Not only are they khol pencils, but they work great as bases too if you'd like! They glide on so smooth, and they are so pigmented. They last practially all day! These contain little shimmers, but nothing too sparkly. I love the consistency of them.**
From top to bottom: #14, #61, #45
**Can you tell that these are all great fall shades? I love the dark mauve colors, and the vampy red shades! Perfect to wear on a cold night out with just some soft natural eyes. The pink shade (#14) I was wearing in the top photo! The consistency of these are so smooth, they don't feel drying AT ALL! Surprising..I know!**
Vivid Amethyst
**Great fall mineral pigment!! The body shop already has mineral shades out for sale now, but they are adding on new shades for the fall! And this color perfectly describes fall/autumn weather. It's a pretty dusty, dark, plum/purple, shade. And the container is so well made - it even comes with a sifter!! No mess ladies!!**
Radiant Highlighter, Skin Primer Matte It, Eye makeup remover, The Body Shop Mascara Super Volume, Natuer's Minerals Eye Shadow Brush
**Radiant Highlighter: Out of everything, I love the Radiant Highlighter. It's just the perfect concept to highlighting your cheeks, temples, T-zone, and chin area. I love this thing!! **Skin Primer Matte It: The consistency of this is so smooth and silky! It just soaks right into your skin without leaving anything behind. And it keeps the shine away ALL DAY! Great primer!! (A little bit goes a LONG way!) **Eye Makeup Remover: This thing is incredible. It removes all sorts of makeup on my eye, including....MASCARA!!! Hard to believe, but it does miracles ladies. All you need is one drop of this onto a cotton ball, and you're all set. It doesn't leave your skin feeling tight and drying like most eye makeup removers. This is a must-have! **The Body Shop Mascara Super Volume: This does what it says, lengthens lashes! The brush is great, no clumps - and it separates my lashes! The only thing is, it doesn't hold my curl for long. I'm still on the hunt for a good mascara that will hold my curls! **Nature's Minerals Eye Shadow brush: ANIMAL CRUELTY FREE!! That's one thing that I have always loved The Body Shop for. This brush is super soft, and nicely packed to pick up those loose minerals! Great brush! I've done brush reviews in the past on The body shop, if you're interested check out my older videos on youtube! That's about it! If you want to see anything in depth - let me know and i'll try my best to inform you all <3 Have a great week! Cynthia

Geo Lenses!

I purchased these lenses awhile back, maybe 2 months ago. But because Geo manufacturer messed up the invoices, they forgot about my blue pair. So I had to wait another month for the last pair to arrive. I ordered these from Mesmerized Eyes. When I bought them, they were $16 USD each pair, but now the prices are $20 USD for each pair. Not bad considering other websites charges you over $40 USD for one pair. Oh yeah! Each pair comes with a free lense case! Overall, the customer service was an A+ and the shipping was expected to be late (around 3-4 weeks) - so don't expect it to come to your place right away. They do these in batches, and when all 100 orders for one batch is filled they have to wait for each payment to come through as well. Then they ship it to Korea. These are Geo Tri-Colour-BrownsCM834
Comfort Level: 10 out of 10 ( I don't even realize they're on my eyes!! ) Blurred Vision: 7 out of 10 ( The transparent part of lense is smaller than my pupil size, so indoors I have blurred vision ) Enlargement of Eye: 0 out of 10 (They do not make my eyes look bigger, just brighter ) Lenses true to color: 2 out of 10 ( They are not brown what so ever - they are hazel looking, which i'm okay with! But if you want brown, get the Angel Browns! ) These are Geo Angel Color in Blue CM832
Comfort Level: 10 out of 10 ( I don't even realize they're on my eyes!! ) Blurred Vision: NONE! Enlargement of Eye: 10 out of 10 (They look bigger than my regular pupil size ) Lenses true to color: 10 out of 10 ( YES! Definitely blue! But a subtle blue, unless you're under direct sunlight =P ) - - - - My husband, Corbin, got me an early graduation gift! I'm so happy! I've always wanted an SUV! 2009 Acura RDX - my love. I named her "Baby Pearl" because of the awesome paint job. lol
Have a wonderful weekend! Cynthia

How I stay fit!

I was requested by some viewers to show them how I stay fit. I can't really say I do much, but I still do SOMETHING! Staying active is healthy, and you have a less likelier chance of getting heart disease. Everyday (I try to atleast...) I run around my neighborhood for approximately 20 minutes. Then I finish my workout routine with different sets of sit ups. This has kept my weight steady, i'm not losing any, and not gaining any either. As a model, clients don't want you to look masculine - they just want you to look lean and toned. So Yoga, Pilates, cardio, are all great workouts. As for makeup wise for the gym, honestly - don't wear any. It will just melt off of your face anyway. When you're at the gym, you're there for a PURPOSE! If you cake on so much makeup, people won't take you seriously and you're obviously not there to wokrout anyway. So keep it to a minimum, by applying MAYBE some waterproof mascara, or lipgloss. But anything else..don't do it. You'll just look silly! So my question to you all is: do you wear makeup while working out? Cynthia
